Pig Lid

Pig Lid inspires a variety of viewer reactions.  How can this be?…a pig enclosed in a gift box?  What can the woman anticipate within moments of her discovery?  Or, is the woman, instead attempting to enclose the pig for some future unnamed recipient?  The imagery of Claudia Cave, a Portland artist, frequently plays with viewer reaction through her depictions of optional scenarios.
