Tracks no. 2

This artwork is built with salvaged wood, and references patterns found in textiles and urban landscapes. To avoid working in a conventional rectangular format, I use repeating and free-form curving shapes to express arrested movement. In reaction against the pall of the current economy, my recent artwork has an abundance of optimistic color. –Artist statement
