Flathead Grid No. 1

Flathead Grid #1 is an example of Hunt's exploration of basic materials which are first cut and compressed, then tied and coated, and finally ordered into grids or decorative sconce-like forms. Hunt is a mid-career artist who trained at the Kansas City Art Institute and the Cranbrook Academy of Art. This is her fourth solo exhibition at Davidson Galleries.
