Description: The artists’ concept stresses water (nature) as the source of hydro-electric power. The artwork is a cast glass “waterfall” running down the front of the reception desk to a glass terrazzo “river” which flows out the entry doors.  The sparkle of the iridescent glass continues not the exterior surface of the building for the benefit of passerby. The glass in the atrium creates the soft light of an underwater feeling. The “Jacobs ladder” and exposed line of electricity overhead in the entryway will be set off by a motion sensor.
