The artwork, Leaf Stack #20, is one of many in my Leaf Stack series. In this series, I am using the simple shape of a leaf to abstract and explore implied overlapping of forms, transparency, and intersections of lines. The layered effect is achieved using color, as there is only one layer of fabrics pieced together. –Artist statement
