Conceptually, my work is about breakdown and repair, and alludes to the cultural situation and compulsions of women. This piece demonstrates this sensibility. From the obsessive nature of its creation, to the use of discarded white cleaning gloves as materials, it is an excellent representation of my methods and sensibilities. –Artist statement
