Good Morning

This piece is part of a larger body of work that is focused on the traditional strip piecing method of quilt making. In this series, I have a set rules and variables that allow for an unknown result. Then I work out the strongest composition I can with the parts and panels created. Often over planning is a part of quilt making because its laborious work. I find I need that surprise of the unknown result in making a quilt. –Artist statement
