Tendrils

Tendrils is part of a body of recent work that documents the ongoing experience of sheltering at home/quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how our experience parallels those of our ancestors who weathered the 1918 flu epidemic. Through researching old images and letters from the last pandemic, Sheets seeks to find clarity and hope in the current challenges of our modern crisis. –Artist statement
