Description: A cast aluminum frieze of a repeating leaf motif along the entrance canopy, illuminated with neon.
Artist Statement: In the past five years we have met often with the Bitter Lake community while developing our ideas. We wanted to create a warm and glowing entrance to the new center of the community. The leaf design of the castings relate to the beautiful natural setting of the new building and reflect back on the history of the land as a gathering place with an abundant crop of indigenous nut trees and berry bushes.
