Weather Prophet

Description: A nine foot tall anodized aluminum weather vane with cut-out designs.
 

Artist Statement: In keeping with the history of the area as a rural farming community we created a weathervane.  The community felt that the blue heron was a good symbol for their center.  We incorporated the heron, the maple leaf and the initials of the Meadowbrook Community Center into our design. We hope that in its daily use the weathervane recalls the past and can be a symbol for the community into the future.
