Water Department Hatchcover Proposal

This hatch cover form represents a set created by artist Garth Edwards for the Seattle Water Department in 1985.  The design can be found cast in bronze and placed over man-holes throughout the city of Seattle.  Edwards is a well known public artist who works in a wide range of media…metal, enameled steel, wood, leaded glass, stone, and ceramic.
