My sculpture plays with images from popular culture, such as vernacular architecture or decorative statuary. I am inspired by ordinary as well as the outrageous ornament in our day-to-day world. Ornament chooses to reveal and conceal. High, low, royal, vernacular, Victorian, modern – every 'style' alludes to its own era's idea of social significance and taboo.
