Ziegler created seven benchlike forms, ranging from 12 to 18 inches high, and placed in a curve on the front lawn of the station. Each form has a unique shape and is made of different materials, including cast concrete, terrazzo, stainless steel, Cor Ten, steel, and sandstone. Inlaid bronze words on each form combine to tell (in English) a folktale of Japan; the text on each form also relates to the form's shape.
