To Offer

Two figures facing each other, one is dressed in black, maybe an old style school uniform…the other is in a white shirt and shorts… One figure offers the other a segment of thread. Sometimes I feel my work is an offering to the past. Feeling my way blindly until I find a connection. The gesture to offer is extended, but there is no promise that the offer will be accepted. –Artist statement
