Le Rêve ('The Dream') is about a machine that translates ideas into reality. This painting is a tribute to an old and dear friend of mine, David Gulassa, who passed away in 2001. The image is from a photo I took of his Bridgeport mill – which he allowed me to use when I was designing and building my own projects. –Artist statement
