Rouen

I am a Canadian-born Korean artist living in America.  The narratives in my recent paintings are beginning to express some of the issues that arise when living in between cultures.
I've enjoyed Monet's many studies of the Rouen Cathedral done at different parts of the day, and wanted to pay homage to his studious observations with a contrast – a harder edged version, done at night. –Artist statement
