My digital botanical works are inspired by growing up in a family of gardeners in a small agricultural town in the San Joaquin Valley of California. My grandmother and mother taught me to appreciate the beauty of plants and produce especially through composing unusual arrangements for everyday enjoyment. –Artist statement
