Super Structure

This painting examines the construction sites of the contemporary Seattle landscape.  Their utilitarian mess, exposed skeletons, and 'safety' colors attract my attention and raise questions about the future landscape we are creating in a frenzied burst today. The work looks at the construction site as a landscape in itself, albeit one whose features and forms are quickly evolving into the hopeful, yet uncertain future.
