At the time I was creating The Bearer of All Pains I was in a period where I was feeling very sympathetic to the pain of others.  When life became too unbearable, or when a person was experiencing too much physical pain, I thought to myself,  'Wouldn't it be wonderful if there were this great powerful beast of burden that could take all of our pains and carry them away to a special place where he would eat them?'  That's when I got the idea for The Bearer of All Pains. The Bearer of All Pains eats the pains of others, and when the pains have been safely eaten, this creature then digests all of the pains and turns them into positive healing vibrations that are then radiated to the mental and emotional atmospheres of people. This energy would effect people in such a way so that their hearts and minds would change, and they would be more loving and kind to each other. The Bearer of All Pains represents this idea. If it were in my powers, I would create a real creature like that. –Artist statement
