This piece examines what connects us and separates us as people.  Though we live and experience different places on a daily basis, some simple things connects us all.  Mass media and mass produced goods such as art often artificially create connections that would normally not exist but still create a kind of odd symbiosis.
With my work I focus on our visual, conscious and unconscious experiences with the use of an oculus, or door peephole.
