Splash and Waterfall

Raised in Mexico, the artist is a long-time Seattle resident who has exhibited her paintings in the region since 1965.  Throughout the years, she has demonstrated a keen interest in color.  During the 1980s, the artist used the icons of fire and waterfall that expressed the presence of death in life, anger, aloneness, and the relentless marking of time.
