This drawing shows the artist's interest in a kind of quirky minimalism. Later Ms. Sandvig made sculptures out of screen. She would fashion them into forms that were both present and transparent and vulnerable. Today she is working with bright colors, recognizable forms done in expressionistic gestures- very different from this early work.
