Dip, Plunge, Turn, Twist

For the last 5 years I have been photographing women, dances and children, re-photographing the photos and scanning them into a computer where I can alter them to make visual records of their bodies and gestures.  Using a variety of printers, I print and overprint the images to make what is essentially a monoprint.  The images are then transferred to a metal plate to achieve the image I'm seeking.  Viscosity inking allows for the color and black to be printed at the same time with one pass through the press, all printed in small editions. –Artist statement
