Arboretum

Raised in Mexico, Liz Sandvig is a long-time Seattle resident who has exhibited her paintings in the region since 1965.  Throughout the years, she has demonstrated a keen interest in color.  Living near the Seattle Arboretum, Sandvig experiences daily the changing light, textures and hues of this peaceful environment. In this painting, Sandvig has articulated the impressions she has experienced in the park over the last forty years.
