Description: The artist designed and attached four oversized fabric figures to door slats mounted on the east wall of the west wind of the lobby. The door slats were cut from large rolling doors in the gymnasium in the original Rainier Community Center. The figures, each with a face painted by the artist, have bodies constructed by young people from the Rainier Community Center using patchworks of fabric and bottle caps.
Artist Statement: This piece was made with the children at the Rainier Community Center. They glued the fabric and bottle caps, and the artist made the chicken wire forms and drew the faces. They represent four children, four ethnic groups.
