Description: The Web hatch cover was created in partnership with Seattle City Light. 19 hatch covers are located throughout the Mercer corridor. A visual indicator of the “web of life”, the hatch covers reference the bio and life sciences research centers in South Lake Union, the world wide web and business, and the network of electrical systems that runs under the city.
