Burden of Proof

The artist's fascination with the question of home (and homelessness) lead to his attention to lives of street people. For a time his studio filled with detritus he had picked up off the streets in a kind of personal anti-littering campaign. Among the items harvested were hundreds of empty liquor bottles which he re-cycled into sculpture. The bottle reappears in his prints, an emblem of cause or consequence for many people who call the streets home.
