Baby Makes Three

I grew up in New Jersey, in a region rich with visual ironies, fabricated environments, and icons unique to the era and place – the garish along with the sublime – that shaped my visual sensibility.  After many years photographing on location in black and white, I began working in the studio, starting with a blank canvas.  Honing my skills in lighting and larger format cameras, I became fascinated with the power of color and the manipulation of light. –Artist statement
