Niño Francisco

Niño Francisco is a work done in mixed media: oils (predominated), palette knife and a few highlights. It reflects the background of Peruvian children, especially those living in the interior provinces where they mature early due to the difficult conditions (social, economic and climatic) of the most sensitive areas in my country. With this painting, I wanted to honor children who have few opportunities, sometimes as limited as the Francisco's window frame. –Artist statement
