Gasworks Park (Four Panels)

In the mid-70s, the Federal government enacted the Comprehensive Employment Training Act to help Americans break into the job market.  The arts were benefited in particular because it provided funding to artists to create art and work in the art job market.  This painting is a result of the Act.  Gail Grinnell, a long time Seattle artist recorded her impressions of the Gas Works Park, long before it was closed, reopened and restored.
