Blow Your Trumpet

This piece centers the words of Norman Mailer and was in response to and in celebration of growing political unrest, at the local and national level. The figure in the print is a nod to a local bootlegger from the 1920’s, only known as “Old Woman Seven Skirts." This artwork celebrates her (and our) defiance. This piece was printed by steamroller at the annual Wayzgoose event in Tacoma. –Artist statement
