Pink Bear

Pink Bear is one of several paintings exploring the image of bears. Carrie sees these animals as having a grounding and protective energy. Carrie Dinah-Rivah pushes the expressive and energetic elements of painting within this simple composition. She studied painting at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.  She went on to have several careers (including being an attorney, landscape designer, and a nanny) before returning to painting full-time in 2018  She lives with her dog, Scarlett, in the lovely Magnolia neighborhood in Seattle. –Artist statement
