Carrie Dinah-Rivah paints timeless images - animals and plants. It is through exploring these forms that she creates a visual language for conveying universal truths. Some of the ideas that come through the work are the primacy of nature, universal connectedness, and quest for spiritual connection. In this sense, she considers herself a translator of these truths through the language of painting.
