The bright red cylinders are "piled" on top of one another at various angles, with three points touching the ground for support. A lawn (originally a lagoon) surrounds the base of the sculpture.
Background: Construction supplies and services were donated to this project by several prominent construction related companies in the Seattle area. The piece was fabricated at the artist's studio in Warren, Connecticut, and shipped via eight 40 foot flatbed trucks to Seattle.
