This artist is best known for his ceramic vessels from earlier years.  However the images in the painting are consistent with those he applied to the ceramics.  For years he created towering ceramic vessels with humorous, honky tonk figures scattered across the surface.  His current work of painting continues that focus, using canvas as his ground instead of clay.
