I use rock forms as an armature upon which to hang ideas relating to them. I emphasize the abstract shapes created by their shadows, which become the most prominent feature of my compositions. Capturing these unique configurations at a given moment in time (which become the title of my work) introduces the element of time into the work. –Artist statement
