Pilchuck Variation #3

Unorthodox beauty is the incentive with which I hope to entice the viewer into exploring how their perceptions and memories connect.  Using recurring patterns, colors, and geometric forms as symbols for the systems we rely upon to make sense of our lives, I endeavor to craft images that have not been seen before.  My aim is to achieve a conspicuous level of optical arousal in the hope that it filters through the viewers' personal experiences to create a lasting visual memory.–Artist statement
