The artist has been weaving landscape tapestries since 1980. Her goal is to evoke an emotional response with the beauty and austerity of her Montana home. This is the last in a series of tapestries portraying Cooney Reservoir near her home. After traveling on rutted road to arrive at the Reservoir, her reward was water and light of a singular quality. I hope the viewer will experience a little of the glow I witnessed that evening. –Artist statement
