Yakima Kid

This piece was created by Ellensburg artist Larry Knodel, who worked under the name of R.E. Beans.  First developed to produce advertising posters, silk-screen printing became a popular method of printing artworks where precise line and areas of flat color were desirable. It was particularly popular among the Pop artists and those who created hard-edged geometric abstraction.
