I explore the idea of the simplicity of ideogram and the powerful meanings of Kanji characters to share the importance of language and history. I select single Kanji character based on their meanings, sounds and shapes. Kanji is one of the three scripts used in the Japanese language. They are Chinese characters, which were first introduced to Japan in the 5th century via Korea. –Artist statement.
