At The Edge of a Silent City

Of mixed Native American and Russian descent, John Feodorov spent his childhood between Los Angeles and the Navajo reservation.  His art reflects this duality.  An important element in his work is his interest in how the sacred can be manifested within our commodity-driven society. It is his aim to target those people who may feel alienated and disillusioned by an ever-growing commercial world and to offer some possible starting points for creating alternative perspectives.
