Facades (Scalar Relationships 1909 - 1913)

The Façades project looks critically at the architectural phenomenon of façadism that can be seen throughout Seattle. As these constructions preserve only a veneer of the original architecture's history, much about our city's cultural history may be lost. As an aesthetic and procedural counterpoint to this architectural gesture, I used Photogrammetry to create 3D models by analyzing multiple still photographs. –Artist statement
