The Façades project looks critically at the architectural phenomenon of façadism that can be seen throughout Seattle. As an aesthetic and procedural counterpoint to this architectural gesture, I used Photogrammetry to create 3D models by analyzing multiple still photographs. This results in a hollow shell of that space, often interrupted by glitches, distortions, and errors caused by the inherently temporal nature of the photographic process. –Artist statement
