The Wise Ones

Owls have represented wisdom in many cultures for generations. To the Oweekeno people, wisdom is found in Ravens, Eagles and Wolves as well. This painting was fun to produce, as I gave playfulness and humor to what are normally serious creatures. I think it's wise to incorporate humor and joy into our lives. –Artist statement
