Transitional States I

I hope to create a mental and emotional space as much as a physical one. Transitional States I is a fiction based in my experiences of the Pacific Northwest both in the city and at the coast. I hope to evoke stillness combined with movement. This might create calm for my viewer, suggest endurance and hint at the passage of time. –Artist statement
