I like to express emotions and feelings with brush strokes and charcoal marks. I consider my art to be expressive type of portraiture and it portrays the journey, experiences, pain, and joy of life. I have always been fascinated with the expressions our bodies and faces make to reveal or hide our deepest emotions or feelings. Wherever I go, I like to explore with curiosity, and I love listening to people's life story and that inspires many of my works. Ultimately, I want to my art to inspire people to see and enjoy the little things that make this life beautiful and complex at the same time. –Artist statement
