Montlake

Artist Statement: I use only one type of film and film developer, and one type of paper and paper developer; I do not confine myself to one particular genre in the realm of photography, but instead shoot anything and everything that appeals to me regardless of whether it is a landscape, architectural study, abstract, still life, or some other subject.  Aside from the fact that I work exclusively in black and white, the most obvious of these unifying features is that my photographs aim for aesthetics rather than messaging, and that they are typically minimal in make-up and direct in composition.
