Taking as its inspiration those handmade Japanese papers that imbed bits of flowers, bark and plant fibers in the paper's pulp, the artist has constructed a serene abstraction. Open to multiple readings like a pastel Rorschach test, the underlying tone is one of quiet solitude and calm.
