Kingdome Jar (Head, Body)

Completed in 1976 (which explains the American Bicentennial button), this ceramic jar is a portrait of the then new Kingdome portrayed as a gentleman dandy. From this distance in time, it is difficult to know if this Mr. Kingdome is being portrayed as an upstanding businessman, a dapper politico, a clever attorney or successful gangster.
