An Ohio native who graduated from Yale University in 1973, Hascall has been deeply involved in the Seattle arts since his arrival in the 1980s.  The representation of feet enclosed within a delineated shape suggest an illusion of floating space.  Here the artist the artist walks a line between the two spaces, our real space and an illusionary one.
